Ashland Men In Mission
ALC is hosting the Men In Mission prayer breakfast on Saturday, November 5th at 6:45 a.m. The guest speaker will be John H. Dumke, Sr, a teacher-author.
All men are welcome to attend!
Soup ‘N’ Pie Supper
ALC’s annual soup and pie supper is scheduled for Sunday, November 6 from 5-7 p.m. The evening will revolve around Chicken Noodle Soup, Chili, Pie, and a Silent Auction, with proceeds being designated to help defray costs of the 2012 ELCA Youth Gathering. There will also be a basket auction, with proceeds designated to the Tanzanian dispensary project.
In His Hands Market
In conjunction with the Fall Quilt Festival, ALC will hold the In His Hands World Market from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. The market offers artisan crafts from the non-profit organization Ten Thousand Villages.
Fall Quilt Festival Luncheon
This year, ALC will be hosting a Salad Luncheon for the community from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. during the Ashland Fall Quilt Festival. All are welcome to join us in fellowship at this luncheon.
Walking The Way – Gathering Around Food
On Oct. 19th, we will discuss ways in which we have been faithful in our gathering around food since our Oct. 5th meeting.

Acolyte Pizza Party/Fun Night – 10/26
A pizza party and fun night will be held on October 26 at 6 p.m. for all acolytes. Please plan to have your youth attend this fun night to celebrate completion of their acolyte training.
Acolyte Training – 10/19
Acolyte training will be conducted from 6-7 pm on October 19 for all youth in 4th-7th grades. A pizza party and fun night will be held on October 26 at 6 p.m. Please plan to have your youth attend this training so they are prepared to provide their service during worship.

Choir practice will be held on Wednesday evenings at 7:30 p.m. Choir will sing on the first Sunday of the month. Everyone from high school age and up is invited to join in praising God together with our voices.
