Community Garden Cleanup

Sep 27, 2011   //   by Barb Washburn   //   Events, Uncategorized  //  No Comments

It is time for garden clean up day at the camp on Saturday, October 1 at 9 a.m.  Our  goal will be to clean out all the beds, prepare the perennial herbs for winter, burn squash vines, cover beds with black landscaping tarp, and any other projects we see would be helpful to prepare for next year (such as  turning soil in beds, adding compost and/or horse manure, etc).

Bring friends, tools, rakes, gloves, and ideas for next year.  If the weather is bad, October 8 will be our weather delay day.

Check out Waytolive.org for more information.
